  1. We will have Basketball try outs for 8th the grade on Nov. 5 at ....7 a.m. in the morning . You must be passing and have a physical on file. Sign up sheets will be in the cafeteria.


  1. Get ready for the first school dance of the year!  It will be NEXT Friday, November 14th in the school cafeteria from 7-9.  The cost of the dance will be $5 and the school dress code will be enforced.  Only College Station Middle School students will be allowed and you MUST have your school ID to enter.  If you have lost your school ID, you may purchase a new one on Wednesday, November 12th

    or Thursday, November 13th during your lunch.  The location to receive your new ID will be on the stage and the cost of the new ID will be 50 cents.  Do NOT go to the counselor's office to get a new ID.  Be there or be square!  


  1. Hey Cubs! It's time for another college gear day! The first college gear day was a big success. We had schools from all over the United States. Thursday, November 6th is the day to wear all your favorite college t-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, and caps. Dress up to show off your favorite college school spirit. That's Thursday, November 6th!


  1. The sign up sheet for 7th Grade Boys Basketball will be on the stage during lunch for all boys who are wanting to try out for the basketball team. If you are not signed up on the list you will not be able to try out.



  1. ATTENTION NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS:  WE WILL BE     MEETING THIS THURSDAY DURING ADVISORY IN THE CHOIR ROOM FOR OUR YEARBOOK PICTURES.  


WEAR YOUR NJHS T-SHIRTS.


AGAIN, NJHS MEMBERS, THIS THURSDAY DURING ADVISORY WE WILL BE TAKING OUR YEARBOOK PICTURES AND WE WILL MEET IN THE CHOIR ROOM.  WEAR YOUR NJHS T-SHIRTS THIS THURSDAY AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHOIR ROOM AFTER THIRD PERIOD.

  2. CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Alicia Martindale!  She has been selected as the CSMS Educator of the Month.  

She has a parking place reserved for the month of November and has earned a gift certificate for her hard work and dedication.

Pictures of Mrs. Martindale are in the display case by the principals' offices so stop by and take a look.

Thank you, Mrs. Martindale for all you do to make CSMS a great place to learn.


  1. Attention Student Council: If your LAST name starts with letters A through F, please come to Mrs. Hamilton's room after announcements today to get your Student Council t-shirt. Only students whose LAST name starts with A through F come today.


  1. This weekend members of the CSMS Cub Band auditioned for spots in the region band.

When all was said and done, the band had once again set a new high with 31 members making the region band and multiple first chairs!
