  1. If you are interested in trying out for the girls basketball team please sign up in the cafeteria before school or during lunch and take an information flyer from October 22-24.

Remember you must have  your physical turned in before tryouts and be passing your classes.

2. Cubs Remember that Monday, October 27th is BLUE OUT DAY!!!!

3.​Next week is Red Ribbon week for Drug Prevention and awareness. There are several dress up days for you to participate in. For every day you participate your name will be added into a drawing for some prizes at the end of the week. Here are the themes for the week:

Monday - "Don't Let Drugs

​and bullying.Make You Blue" - Wear Blue

Tuesday - "Double Up Against Drugs" - Twin Day

Wednesday - Wear Red

Thursday - "Put Drugs to Sleep.  Wear Pajama Bottoms (must be in dress code and NO SLIPPERS)

Friday - "Stomp Out Drugs and Bullying" - Wear Crazy Socks

So make sure you wear your blue on Monday!

  1. The 8th grade Lady Cubs went to Jane Long Thurs. to take on the Lady Lobos. The Black team won 25-12, 25-12. Margo Hansen had nine ace serves, and Raegan McNeil had 7 ace serves. Alexys King had 2 kills and a block, while Maddie Foster had two kills, and Faith Sicinski had one kill. The Purple team won 25-13, 25-6. We started a little slow and built up steam. Natalie Martin had 4 kills, one back row kill, and a block to lead the team. Emmie Castaneda contributed 3 kills, with Taylor Gentry adding 2 kills.McKenzie Bennett had 7 assists with Emme Castaneda adding 3 assists.

           Our last game of the season is next Thurs. here at CSMS against the other middle     school. We really need your support to rock the gym at 5 and 6 pm. It will be a very exciting match so come out and be LOUD!!!

  1. The 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Jane Long yesterday to take on the Lady Lobos. The Black team swept the Lobos in two sets, 25-7 and 25-10. The leading scorers were Jessi Carreon with 18 points and Maddie Petrick with 13 points. Olivia Riechman had great passes and the team played great defense as a whole. The Purple team beat the Lobos easily in two sets, 25-13 and 25-7. We had a slow start but we adjusted well as the game went on. The leading scorers were Brayli Edwards with 17 points and Kelsey Beasley with 11 points. Jalen Perez had great transition defense and the team had great target passes overall. The last game will be next Thursday at CSMS against that other middle school, AMCMS. Come out and support your Lady Cubs! Make sure you wear purple to the game so the Cats know to Fear the Purple!

  1. Attention Student Council Members:

      Please come by Mrs. Hamilton's room TODAY to receive information for   your secret pal gifts. You may come by after announcements today, if this works with your Advisory teacher's schedule.
