  1. Attention National Junior Honor Society:

This is a reminder that your grade sheets are due.  Pick up a grade sheet outside Mrs. Sampson's or Mrs. Holland's classroom doors, fill them out and get them signed by your advisory teacher, and drop them in the yellow folder outside Mrs. Sampson's door.

Also, sign ups have begun for the Holy Cross Fall Festival and the College Station Medical Center Preemie Reunion.  If you are interested in signing up to help with either of these, see the bulletin board outside Mrs. Sampson's classroom door.

  1. The 7th grade Lady Cubs traveled to Brenham last night to take on the Cubettes. The Black team swept the Cubettes 25-8 and 25-8. The leading scorers were Jessi Carreon with 12 points and Zoe Bullard with 9 points. The Purple team also swept the Cubettes 25-9 and 25-9. The leading scorer was Hailey Hudson with 9 points and Zoe Peterek with 7 points. Great teamwork and communication by both teams. The Purple team will play in the Sam Rayburn Tournament this Saturday at Bryan High School. Their first game will be at 8am. Come support your Lady Cubs!

  1. The 8th grade Lady Cub volleyball team traveled to Brenham Thurs. to play the Green team. We came away with 2 wins. The Black team won in a serve fest 25-10, 25-5 Reagan McNeil, Taylor Hollis, Callie Wynn, and Molly Luedke had 5 aces or more in their service turns. Faith Sicinski had 2 kills, Alexys King and Callie Wynn had 1 kill each. We also had a back row kill from Kendall Tramel.

The Purple game had a little more action with scores of 25-14, 25-10. Natalie Martin     had 10 kills to lead the offense. Taylor Gentry, Cami Winder, and Emmie Castaneda served very strong keeping Brenham off balance.

Our next game is Thurs. Oct. 16 at home against Huntsville.

  1. The cross country team hosted its first ever Invitational meet this past Wednesday. We want to thank everyone that came out to help work the meet as well as anyone that came out to cheer them on! It was a success!!

The 7th grade girls, 8th grade girls and 8th grade boys all won their divisions. The 7th grade boys were 2nd in theirs. Individually Avery Seagraves, Zach Childers, Stephanie Brown were the overall champions in their respective divisions.

The 8th grade girls finished with a perfect score of 15 in which all 5 of their top runners went 1-2-3-4-5. Following Stephanie was AK Bradford, Callie Woods, Erin Clendenin, and Sloan Peacock.

The 8th grade boys had all 5 of their top runners in the top 10 led by Kit Cawley and followed by Shepherd Grimes, Connor Lindsey, Matthew McGinnis, and Matthew White.

The 7th grade girls had 7 of the top 10 runners. Along with Avery was Olivia Fox - 2nd, Grace Wu - 5th, Aless Guedea - 7th, Sterling West - 8th, Ashlyn Wood - 9th, and Audrey Clendenin - 10th.

Other 7th grade boys scoring points behind Zach were Jaden Howe, Karl Lindahl, Joseph Benn, and Austin Arant.

The team's final race will be District on Oct 20 in Huntsville.

  1. Remember stock sale ends on October 15!!  Use the weekend to collect so you can turn it in next week!!  The top 3 classes will be announced on Tuesday, and the winning class of most donations turned in will win a special prize!!  Please let the office know if you need a new form!!!
