  Cubs - Help out your school by dining at Texas Roadhouse on University drive between 6 and 8 on Tuesday, October 7th.  CSMS students will be helping sell cactus blossoms and fried pickles for your appetizers.  Enjoy one of these tasty treats while helping out your school!


  1.  Monday is Blue out Bullying day at CSMS. Wear your bullying prevention shirt if you bought one or wear any blue. Blue shirt, blue jeans, blue socks, and even blue shoes will be great! Let's try to Blue Out CSMS completely!


  1. The Boys cross country teams competed at the Cameron Yoe Town Harriers meet on Monday. The boys teams were divided between an A-team and B-team. Both teams won their division going away. Shepherd Grimes ran a gutsy race to beat out the Giddings runner that had beaten the team in the last 2 races. Kit Cawley finished 3rd and Connor Lindsey took 4th and rounding out the top 5 were Charlie McBride, 9th and Matthew McGinnis 10th. The team scored 21 points, 33 points ahead of 2nd place Hearne.

The B-team was led by the 1-2 punch of Jagan Daughters and Matthew Bryan, followed by Hunter Jacobson- 4th; Caleb McCulley- 6th, and Karl Lindahl – 7th. 12 of the top 15 places belonged to the Cubs. Way to go!!

The next race for the team will be next week here at CSMS on Oct 8. Come out and watch our kids run!!
