Listen up Cubs! Do you have a favorite college? Do you love to wear college t-shirts, jerseys, hoodies, and caps? Wednesday, October 1st is our first campus college gear day. Let's all dress up to show off your school spirit. Wear your favorite university gear, including caps. Caps and hats, only with a college logo, may be worn for free. That's Wednesday, October 1st, College Gear Day - Don't forget!

The cross country teams traveled to Brenham Friday to run the Hillacious Invitational meet. Competition was very tough and we were able to race against some district opponents that we will see again at the District meet in Huntsville later next month.
The 7th grade girls ran the first race and placed 2nd behind a strong team from Knox. Avery Seagraves - 3rd and Olivia Fox - 6th finished high enough to earn medals. Rounding out the top 5 for the Lady Cubs were Grace Wu - 21st, Ashlyn Wood - 25th, and Sterling West - 26th.

The 7th grade boys ran next and finished in 4th place, just one point out of 3rd. Zach Childers led the way for the Cubs placing 4th overall. Jaden Howe - 12th and Scott Decker - 13th also earned medals. The other top 5 finishers included Joseph Benn - 20th and Karl Lindahl - 41st.

The 8th grade girls had the overall champion with Stephanie Brown running a time of 12:49.58, well ahead of the rest of the runners. AK Bradford - 4th and Shawnee Chavez - 14 were our other medal winners. Callie Woods finished just
